General Info:  In Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) division 1 and division 2 teams will play in their own divisions.  Teams that play in these divisions are teams that are comprised of boys and girls teams that have not tried out and have been selected for tournament/travel ball teams.  This division of play is designed for intermediate sign-up and play teams.

Season Practice Start Date:  Starting the week of October 31, 2022.

Season Game Start Date:  November 9, 2022.

Season Game End Date:  February 12, 2023.

Grades Offered:  

2nd grade Boys, 2nd Grade Girls can play up to 3rd grade girls or play 2nd grade boys if desired
3rd Grade Girls, 3rd Grade Boys
4th Grade Girls, 4th Grade Boys
5th Grade Girls, 5th Grade Boys
6th Grade Girls, 6th Grade Boys
7th Grade Girls, 7th Grade Boys
8th Grade Girls, 8th Grade Boys

Number of Games in Season:  Eleven (11).  Ten (10) game league season with one (1) game in season ending championship.

Format for League Games:  Friday, Saturday and some Sunday single and double header games (vrs different opponents).

Format for Championship:  One (1) game single elimination.

Number of Practices per Week:  Two (2) per week.

Age Determination Date:  Grade in the Fall of 2022.

Cost to play for 2022-23:  $325 Early Bird before September 16, September 17+, $375.  Second child discount of $20 dollars per player applies if registered at the same time.

Location of Games:  Local area South Denver gyms.

Returning Player Deadline:  September 16, 2022 (If you played Warriors basketball in 2021)-22.

Registration Opens:  September 1, 2022.

Registration Deadline:  When teams are full.
